Artist's Statement

Some have noted my website doesn't include much personal or biographical information. In this world of online me, my art is not about me. This may be hard for some to understand, but sometimes after a drawing is completed I feel like it is not mine or doesn’t belong to me. It is something separate with a life of its own.

Many artists out there create works that look all the same. While some of my works look similar, in the end my number one goal is for my artwork not to look all the same when taken as a whole. After that I like to get emotion, movement, or depth if not all three at least one of them.

Denny E. Marshall has had art, poetry, and fiction published. Some recent credits include cover art for Society Of Misfit Stories June 2021 and poetry in Star*line 44.3 summer 2021. In 2020 his website celebrated 20 years on the web. Also in 2020 his artwork is for sale for the first time. The link is on his website.
